I am currently a UX Design Consultant in the Digital and Emerging Technologies Practice at EY, with an emphasis in User Experience Design. I am passionate about creating digital experiences for businesses and consumers. I leverage my consulting experience, prior in-house design experience, and education to produce thoughtful and impactful designs. My ability to research, ideate, and produce high-fidelity wireframes enable me to solve difficult design problems.
I’m a recent graduate of the University of Michigan School of Information where I received a B.S. in Information Science with an emphasis in User Experience Design & Digital Marketing. Additionally, I was selected into a specialized program through the Ross School of Business where I received a certificate in sales and marketing.
Growing up in Plymouth, Minnesota, I have always been intrigued by technology and design. I used to spend hours creating iMovies, picture collages, and writing stories on my family’s computer. I was constantly researching various technology devices, fascinated with how the iPhone and iPod were created. When social media became popular, I was immediately immersed into a world where you can use your word and design to make a difference. At first, when I arrived at the University of Michigan, I thought my path was to major in Communications. After taking my first class through the School of Information, I realized that I could go beyond my interest in communications, and unleash my creativity through user experience design. I’m so happy to have found a major that I am truly passionate about. In my free time, you can find me watching Michigan basketball games or spending time with friends and family.
