Assignment Overview

To develop my understanding of composition, in terms of dynamic movement and asymmetrical balance, I was asked to create four “Faces of UMSI” Sliders. These sliders, similar to the ones found on the University of Michigan School of Information website, enabled me to further build upon my background isolation/masking skills in Photoshop. The requirements for this assignment were to find background images that corresponded with each student’s mission statement, correctly create clipping masks of each student, and select a font and color scheme that compliments all four sliders.
